She is a proud Golden Bear and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Berkeley, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Biology. Pursuant of higher education, Dr. Leung continued her studies at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) to receive her Doctorate of Dental Surgery.

Dr. Leung is committed to advanced education, which is why she decided to move to New York amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, to serve the Brooklyn community while completing her Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency with NYU Langone Hospitals, at their 7th Avenue Family Health Center.

Dr. Katherine Leung is an active member of the California Dental Association, The American Dental Association, and the Southern Alameda County Dental Society.

She has spent years dedicating her time volunteering with organizations that give back to the community and provide care to the underserved. She has volunteered internationally with SPEAR Open Wide Foundation in Guatemala, as well as locally, with the Berkeley Free Clinic. During dental school, she organized and coordinated outreach events to provide free dental screenings, fluoride varnish, and oral hygiene instruction in San Francisco with the Children's Health Hut at UCSF.
Dr. Leung discovered the perfect balance of health and art - she practices with a tasteful and refined eye for detail and is grateful to have the privilege of partnering with patients through their oral health journey.

While not working, Dr. Katherine Leung enjoys spending time with friends and family, photography, hiking, exploring and finding new restaurants and foods to try, and going to live concerts!
